Komponistenbund, Österreichischer, ÖKB#
Komponistenbund, Oesterreichischer, OeKB (Austrian Society of Composers), founded in 1913 as professional organisation of composers of all musical genres (classical music and light music). In a joint effort with AKM the aim of the OeKB is to improve the composers´ position regarding matters of copyright. Other aims include spreading the works of Austrian composers, journalistic activities, measures for the social and financial security of composers and permanent contact to the Arts Universities and other institutions of musical education.
