Kreisgrabenanlagen#
Circular Ditches were constructed during the Lengyel Culture of the Middle Neolithic Age; they consist of 1-3 concentrical circular ditches (up to 10 m broad and 6 m deep) with a total diameter of between 45 and 145 m. Circular ditches were discovered in particular in the Weinviertel region by means of aerial photography. Double circular ditches were researched near Friebritz southeast of Laa an der Thaya and in Kamegg near Gars am Kamp.
