Kumpf, Gottfried#
b. Annaberg (Salzburg), Nov. 29, 1930; painter, graphic artist and sculptor. Since 1968 has lived in the Austrian province of Burgenland; its landscape and environment are the subjects of his characteristically naïve works (Award for Conservation Merit of the World Wildlife Fund, WWF in 1982). His works cover a broad spectrum, from small graphics (stamps) through illustrations of children's books, oil paintings and sculptures to designs of buildings and landscapes.
