Mitterbauer, Peter#

b. Laakirchen (Upper Austria), Nov. 14, 1942, industrialist. Studied mechanical engineering and business management in Graz and Vienna, subsequently post-graduate training in the USA. In 1969 joined his father´s firm in Laakirchen (today Miba AG) in 1986 became chairman of the board. 1988 became president of the Upper Austrian Federation of Industrialists and 1990 vice president of the Upper Austrian Economic Chamber. Since 1996 president of the Federation of Austrian Industry.
