Neudoerfl, Burgenland, market town in the district of Mattersburg, alt. 273m, pop. 3,324, area 9.01 km2, industrial market town at the Lower Austrian border east of Wiener Neustadt at the foot of the Rosaliengebirge mountains. - Caritas charity organisation, printing works, office furniture manufacturing, chipboard and plastics production, aluminium and wood-processing, construction company. - Parish church (1669, enlarged after 1683, extended in 1783, 1952 newly decorated after removing the Baroque interior). The first Austrian Social-Democratic Party was founded in a former inn (Hauptstrasse 154) in 1874. Former castellet of the Esterházy family (1650).
