Oberleiser Berg#
Oberleiser Berg Hill, Lower Austria, alt. 457 m, elevation in the limestone cliffs of the Leiser mountains in the Weinviertel region (municipality of Ernstbrunn). First settlements date back to the Neolithic period, Celtic hilltop settlement (oppidum) of the La Tène Culture, minting of coins; Roman-style building 2nd century A.D. (domicile of a Germanic prince?); burial ground of christianised Slavic settlers (10th /11th centuries).
