Radmer#
Radmer, Styria, municipality in the district of Leoben, alt. 729 m, pop. 903, area 82.41 km2, situated in the valley between the Eisenerz Alps and Ennstal Alps, at the eastern foot of Lugauer Mountain (alt. 2,219 m); cadastral districts Radmer an der Stube (alt. 729 m) and Radmer an der Hasel (alt. 898 m). - Metal processing; iron ore mining on Lugauer mountain, closed down in 1978/79. - Pilgrimage church in Baroque style (1600-1603) decorated with elaborate stucco work (around 1720/1730), columned high altar (1727) decorated with statues, imperial hunting lodge (1870/71), Greifenberg Castle (around 1600).
