Rauchmiller (Rauchmueller), Matthias, b. Radolfzell (Germany), Jan. 11, 1645, d. Vienna, Feb. 5, 1686, sculptor, ivory carver and painter. Settled in Vienna in 1675. Highly talented artist at the transition from early to high baroque; was a major influence on Austrian sculpture around 1700.
