Ravelsbach#
Ravelsbach, Lower Austria, market town in the district of Horn, alt. 265 m, pop. 1,731, area 26.38 km2, at the foot of Manhartsberg hill, situated in the western part of the Weinviertel region. - District branch of the Chamber of Agricultural and Allied Workers, road maintenance agency; building and construction enterprises, wine growing. Parish church (1721-1726 by J. Prandtauer) with altarpiece paintings by M. Moelk and J. Grebmer; rectory (around 1660-1667). International summer seminars on fine arts.
