Söding#

Soeding, Styria, municipality in the district of Voitsberg, alt. 341 m, population 1,838, area 9.11 km2, including the cadastral districts of Kleinsoeding and Grosssoeding, near the confluence of the Soedingbach and Kainach streams, southwest of Graz. - Home run by the Lebenshilfe charity organisation; building industry dominant (construction, deep-drilling, construction equipment production and trade), production of screening machines and industrial equipment. - Late Gothic filial church of St. Sebastian (redecorated in Baroque style around 1679) with stone altar (early 17th century) and side altars which were part of a late Gothic carved altarpiece (around 1510-1520), Gross Soeding Castle (around 1563) with chapel (stucco, frescoes).
