Sandrart, Joachim von#
Sandrart, Joachim von, b. Frankfurt am Main (Germany), May 12, 1606, d. Nuremberg (Germany), Oct. 14, 1688, painter, copperplate engraver and writer on art. Wrote the "Teutsche Academie" (1675), the most important collection of sources of German baroque art.
