Schwab, Günther#
b. Prague (Czech Republic), Oct. 7, 1904. Narrative writer, essayist, author of scripts and radio plays. Worked as a forester in Lower Austria and Styria; in his books he advocated an active policy of environmental protection, esp. in "Der Tanz mit dem Teufel" (1959); founded the World League for the Protection of Life in 1960.
