Sollenau#

Sollenau, Lower Austria, market town in the district of Wiener Neustadt, alt. 271 m, population 4,213 (1981: population 3,438), area 10.70 km2, situated on the River Piesting, in Steinfeld Plain. Provincial administration office and Karl Ryker Village of the Lebenshilfe charity organisation, multi-purpose hall, Felixdorf-Sollenau waterworks; two precast concrete factories, beverage production, wood processing and plastics production. Romanesque pier basilica (13th century) redecorated in Baroque style with square tower from the late Romanesque period, parts of it from late 13th century.
