St. Andrä-Wördern#
St. Andrae-Woerdern, Lower Austria, market town in the district of Tulln, alt. 177 m, pop. 5,404, area 39.34 km2, on the southeastern rim of the Tullnerfeld Plain on the edge of the Vienna Woods. - Volkshilfe charity, window production, trade in catering equipment, trade and craft. - Fortified hill-top settlement from the Bronze Age on Kumenberg Hill, finds from the Urnfield Culture. - Gothic hall church, choir (second half of the 14th century), high altar (1730) with paintings dating from 1836. Greifenstein Castle in the vicinity.
