Stanzer Tal#
Stanz Valley, Tirol, western lateral valley of Inn Valley; leading from Sankt Anton am Arlberg (alt. 1,284 m) to Stanz bei Landeck (alt. 1,038 m); comprises the lower section of the River Rosanna and the Sanna Valley. The River Trisanna ( Paznaun Valley) flows into the River Rosanna at Burgfried (alt. 1,032 m). In the Rosanna Valley, almost exclusively grassland farming with cattle breeding and some dairy farming, along the River Sanna, the mild climate also favours fruit-growing (plums). The Arlbergbahn mountain railway and the Arlberg Road Tunnel connect the Stanz Valley with the Klostertal valley in Vorarlberg.
