Wörschach#

Woerschach, Styria, municipality in the district of Liezen, alt. 650 m, pop. 1,157, area 42.88 km2, in the Ennstal valley to the west of Liezen at the foot of the Totes Gebirge Mountains. - Concentrated sulphur springs whose reactivation is planned in order to make Woerschach a health resort; production and sale of footwear and caravans, concrete brick works, some tourism. - Parish church (1740-1742); ruins of Wolkenstein Castle (some parts Gothic, some dating from the 16th century) on a rock at the eastern edge of the municipality; nearby, Woerschacher Moos, Woerschacher Klamm Gorge.
