Weinhandl, Margarete geborene Glantschnigg#
Weinhandl, Margarete (nee Glantschnigg), b. Celje, Slovenia (then Cilli), June 5, 1880, d. Graz (Styria), Sept. 28, 1975. Poet and narrative writer, wife of the philosopher Ferdinand W. Lived in Kiel and Graz, cultural advisor to the NS-Frauenschaft (National Socialist Women's Union) of Schleswig-Holstein. Her mystical texts, which evince close communion with nature, describe the scenery of Styria and of Schleswig-Holstein ("Jugend im Weinland", 1962).
