Wildberg#

Wildberg, Lower Austria, part of the municipality of Irnfritz in the district of Horn, Renaissance castle above the River Taffa southeast of Messern, first documented mention 1135, extended in the 16thimportant Protestant stronghold (printing shop) during the Reformation; also called "Castle of the Coat of Arms" because the striped shield shown on a Babenberg seal of 1230 is said to hail from the coat of arms of the Counts of Poigen-Rebgau-Hohenberg.
