Behind Memphis, Nashville Nashville, Tennessee is the second largest city in Tennessee.

The city is also a center for healthcare, publishing, banking and transportation industries and it is home to numerous colleges and universities. But still, Nashville is best known as capital of the country music industry, and therefore it was given the nickname "Music City U.S.A."
