Finkenberg, Tirol, municipality in the district of Schwaz, alt. 839 m, pop. 1,490, area 171.57 km2, a bi-seasonal tourist resort (328,502 overnight stays) situated at the mouth of the Tux valley within the Ziller valley. - Cableway (operated together with the municipality of Mayrhofen) to Penken mountain (alt. 2,095 m); construction firms, cement plant and reservoir, commercial enterprises. - Baroque parish church (1719-1726) with high altar (1726); wooden bridges: Teufelsbruecke (1876) and Hochstegbruecke (19th century). Neo-Romanesque parish church in Ginzling (1854).
