Lackner, Josef, b. Woergl (Tyrol), Jan. 31, 1931, d. Innsbruck (Tyrol), Sept. 13, 2000, architect. Studied at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts under C. Holzmeister; from 1959 architect in Innsbruck, from 1979 professor at the University of Technology in Innsbruck; well known for his innovative buildings (e.g. Parish Church Voels near Innsbruck, 1965-1967).
