Meinhard III., Graf von Tirol#

Meinhard III, Count of Tyrol, b. 1344, d. Meran/Merano (South Tyrol), Jan. 13, 1363, son of Margarete Maultasch and the last of the Meinhardiner family. Ruled from 1361 but was strongly influenced by his kinship with the Wittelsbachs. His death caused his mother to transfer Tyrol to the Habsburgs (Duke Rudolf IV).
