Orsini-Rosenberg, Adelsgeschlecht#
Orsini-Rosenberg, noble family from Carinthia. Were made barons in 1633, counts in 1648, princes in 1790. The family was originally called Rosenberg, but adopted the name of O.-R. in the 17th century. The palace in Klagenfurt (Neuer Platz 1) became the town hall in 1918. Prominent members of the family were Prince Franz Xaver Wolfgang Orsini-Rosenberg and Count Johann Andreas Orsini-Rosenberg.
