Whether buffalo, zebra, kudu, crocodile, warthog, antelope or Impala - the variety has no limits. But one thing should be clear to the visitor: The Boma buffet, followed by a dance show, is a pure tourist spectacle, although the locals also like to barbecue. But mostly they have only enough money for traditional dishes such as polenta, dried fish and deep-fried mopane worms.
Ob Büffel, Zebra, Kudu, Krokodil, Warzenschwein, Antilope oder Impala – die Vielfalt kennt keine Grenzen. Eines sollte dem Besucher jedoch klar sein: Beim Boma-Buffet mit anschließender Tanzshow handelt es sich um ein reines Touristenspektakel. Die Einheimischen grillen zwar auch gerne. Meist aber reicht das Budget nur für traditionelle Gerichte wie Maisbrei, Trockenfisch und geröstete Mopane-Würmer.
