In all parts of the town Breton folk music makes a raucous noise, which arises from the sound of bombardes and binious. The bombarde could be described as a Breton version of oboe making a reedy sound. Traditionally it is played in duo with a bagpipe, the biniou. The Celtic roots of Breton music are unmistakable.
Aus allen Winkeln dröhnt bretonische Volksmusik, die aus dem Zusammenklang von Bombarde und Biniou entsteht. Die Bombarde könnte man als bretonische Volksoboe bezeichnen, die einen grell-durchdringenden Ton von sich gibt. Traditionell wird sie im Duo mit einem Dudelsack, dem Biniou, gespielt. Die keltischen Wurzeln der bretonischen Musik sind unüberhörbar.
