Topics: I am a Geophysicist, interested in induced seismicity, tectonics and geodynamics. My research is mainly focuses seismic hazard determination, seismic risk and mitigation measures, early-warning, historical earthquakes. Tools: Structural geology, experimental and numerical modelling, geomorphology, seismic interpretation. Field area: Analysis of seismic events and rockburst effects, forensic seismology Laboratory: Interpreting results of laboratory rock sample tests and setting up a rock data base in South Africa.
