Vienna, June 2, 1851, glass painter of the Biedermeier period (idyllic Austrian style 1814-1848). 1784-1840 design painter at the Vienna Porcelain Factory. Took up sheet glass and hollow glass painting following the example of G. S. Mohn, but with more richly-coloured designs.
