Ottnang am Hausruck#

Ottnang am Hausruck, Upper Austria, municipality in the district of Voecklabruck, alt. 554 m, pop. 3,743, area 30.35 km2, at the southeast border of Hausruck mountain. Wood processing (joineries, staircase construction, furniture), metal-working, earlier brown-coal mining at Thomasroith (1840-1966). - Franciscan monastery in Bruckmuehl. Parish church redecorated in Baroque style, late-Gothic core (chancel, portal, 3 glass paintings of 1494), rebuilt and enlarged in 1706 by C. A. Carlone; high altar from the end of the 17th century.
