Wutte, Martin#

b. Obermuehlbach (Carinthia), Dec. 15, 1876, d. Klagenfurt (Carinthia), Jan. 30, 1948, studied the historical development of Carinthia; secondary school teacher; head of the Carinthian Archives in Klagenfurt from 1923-1939; editor of the magazine "Carinthia I" (1913-1939); secretary of the Club of Carinthian Historians (1907-1938); contributed to the Carinthian "Heimatatlas" and to the Carinthian section of the historical atlas of the Austrian alpine lands (Historischer Atlas der oesterreichischen Alpenlaender); awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Graz.
