The approximately 2,500 villas with private beach and the 2,400 apartments were sold out within 72 hours. They are now home to more than 8,000 people. Furthermore, there are also restaurants, shopping centres and aquatic parks. But the building progress at the 12 km long outer ring came to a standstill. There, 30 luxury hotels are to be built, but only a few were opened until now, including the Mega Resort "Atlantis" at the apex of the palm. You can get there either by car through an underwater tunnel or above ground by using the Palm Jumeirah Monorail.
Die etwa 2.500 Villen mit Privatstrand und die 2.400 Apartments waren innerhalb von 72 Stunden ausverkauft. Sie bilden nun Heimat für mehr als 8.000 Menschen. Dazu kamen Restaurants, Einkaufszentren und Wasserparks. Nur der Baufortschritt am 12 km langen äußeren Ring stockt. Dort sollen 30 Luxushotels entstehen, doch erst wenige sind eröffnet, darunter das Megaresort „Atlantis“ am Scheitelpunkt der Palme. Dorthin gelangt man entweder mit dem Auto durch einen Unterwassertunnel oder überirdisch mit der Dubai Monorail.
