From 1926 in the Chamber of Agriculture of Burgenland, 1927-1930 member of the Burgenland Landtag, 1930/1931 member of the Nationalrat, 1933 provincial leader of the paramilitary organization Vaterlaendische Front (Fatherland Front) in Burgenland, 1931-1934 member of the provincial government of Burgenland, 1934-1938 Landeshauptmann, 1938 deportation to the Dachau concentration camp.
