Flavia Solva#
Flavia Solva, Roman settlement, in the municipality of Wagna (district of Leibnitz, Styria); city charter granted under Emperor Vespasian (69-79 A.D.). The town area was designed completely with regular right-angled blocks and in certain areas had beautifully designed houses, workshops and shops as well as a wooden amphitheatre with an arena measuring 80 x 35 m. The settlement was completely destroyed shortly after 400 A.D.
