Koschat, Thomas#
Koschat, Thomas, b. Viktring near Klagenfurt (Carinthia), Aug. 8, 1845, d. Vienna, May 19, 1914. Composer, choir singer, collected folk songs, wrote dialect poetry. Is considered one of the initiators of the folk music movement and the Carinthian folk song movement. K.-Museum in Klagenfurt (since 1934).
