Novomatic#

Novomatic, Austrian industrial and service group with headquarters in Gumpoldskirchen (Lower Austria) founded in 1980. It specializes in the production and development of casino equipment, casino management and the operation of international betting offices (e.g. Admiral Sportwetten bets). Novomatic is one of the world leaders in this trade (branches in 26 countries, total turnover in 1996: ATS 2.9 billion (ATS 1.2 billion in Austria alone). 2,000 employees out of 2,500 are employed abroad.
