Sappi Holding AG#

Sappi Holding AG, parent company for European interests of the South African paper group Sappi Ltd., including the paper mill at Gratkorn, Styria taken over by KNP Leykam in 1998. The mill, which produces mostly woodfree coated paper grades, is world leader in this field with a capacity of 720,000 tonnes p.a. In 1998 the company had a staff of 1,715 in Austria. Its managing board is chaired by W. Pfarl.
