Kery, Theodor#

Kery, Theodor, b. Mannersdorf an der Rabnitz (Burgenland), July 24, 1918, teacher and politician (SPOe, Social Democratic Party of Austria). 1951-1962 member of the Landtag, 1962-1966 member of the provincial government, 1966-1987 Landeshauptmann of the province of Burgenland. On account of public criticism (privileges, assignment of posts according to party affiliation) K. resigned from his offices in 1987.
