Reinhardt-Seminar#
Reinhardt-Seminar, department of acting and stage-directing at the Vienna University of Music and the Performing Arts ( Art Universities); created in 1929 by M. Reinhardt on the basis of the "courses of declamation and facial expression" established in 1852. The Reinhardt Seminar was originally located in Schoenbrunn Palace, since 1940 located in nearby Cumberland Palace. Students take a 4-year course in either acting or directing and gain practical experience from annual school productions and performances in the Schoenbrunn Schlosstheater theatre.
