Brunner, Richard#
b. Vienna, Jan. 5, 1900, d. Vienna, July 15, 1990, chemist, from 1929 worked in the brewing industry, 1962-1972 professor at the Vienna University of Technology. Head researcher at Biochemie GmbH. (Kundl); developed the first oral penicillin (together with E. Brandl, H. Margreiter, K. Schroeder). 15 patents in the fields of brewery and antibiotics, especially penicillin.
