b. Stavá Červená Voda, Czech Republic (then Alt-Rothwasser), Nov. 12, 1862, d. Vienna, Sept. 15, 1930, post expert. From 1886 worked for the post office, from 1918 General Manager of the Post and Telegraph Authority in Vienna. Responsible for restoring the international reputation of the Austrian postal service after World War I. His wife Marie H., nee Perzina (1873-1947), was president of the Association of Austrian Women 1932-1938.
