Slanar, Hans, b. Vienna, Aug. 4, 1890, d. Vienna, Aug. 9, 1955, geographer, grammar school principal, contributed to the school reform initiated by O. Gloeckel; 1945/46 chief co-ordinator of the survey of Austria, teacher at the Vienna Institute of Education, lecturer at the University of Vienna from 1945.
