Wirtschaftsbund, Oesterreichischer, OeWB, (Austrian Economic League), one of the three dominant sub-organisations of the Oesterreichische Volkspartei (Austrian People's Party) along with the Oesterreichischer Bauernbund and the Oesterreichischer Arbeiter- und Angestelltenbund. Its members is mainly consist of entrepreneurs and freelancers; close personal ties are maintained with the Economic Chambers, in which the Austrian Economic League possesses the majority in all provinces.
