Benedict Anderson argumentiert, dass „every successful revolution has de-
fined itself in national terms [...] and, in so doing, has grounded itself firmly in a
territorial and social space inherited from the prerevolutionary, past“ (2;
Hervorhebung im Original). Dieser soziale Raum war in der Grünen Bewegung
die reale und symbolische Straße. Benedict Anderson meint ferner:
The spontaneous distillation of a complex ,crossing‘ of dis-
crete historical forces; but that, once created, they became
,modular‘, capable of being transplanted, with varying de-
grees of self-consciousness, to a great variety of social ter-
rains, to merge and be merged with a correspondingly wide
variety of political and ideological constellations. (4)
Als kollektiver Raum ist die Straße, so haben die Analysen gezeigt, filmisch auf
solch mannigfaltige Art und Weise in Erscheinung getreten, dass sie als komple-
xes Element in einem Gesamtsystem historischer wie sich verändernder filmi-
scher Transformationsprozesse zu verstehen ist. Als gegenwärtiger Raum fand
